The Pit Perch, developed by Gala Performance, is designed as a compact, pop-up pit lane command perch for professional race teams operating in tight, high-pressure environments. Every element of the structure is built around efficient pit wall operation, data analysis and clear communication during live race sessions.
A folding aluminium frame allows the Pit Perch to deploy quickly while maintaining a rigid, stable structure once in position. The rear supported awning provides overhead protection without increasing the overall footprint, helping teams work comfortably in changing weather conditions while keeping sightlines clear to the pit lane.
Integrated data monitor brackets are positioned to support live timing, telemetry and strategy screens at working height, creating a fixed command position for engineers and strategists. An LED strip light runs within the structure to provide consistent illumination during long sessions, low-light conditions or overnight running.
The Pit Perch is finished with heavy-duty 620gsm PVC covers, offering reliable protection for personnel and equipment through extended race weekends. A folding steel shelf creates a practical work surface for laptops, radios and control hardware, while integrated electrical output ports support powered devices directly at the pit wall.
Additional storage pockets are built into the structure for pit board numbers and race-day essentials, keeping frequently used items organised and immediately accessible. When not in use, the entire unit folds down into a compact form factor, making it easy to transport and store inside already crowded race trailers.
